Financial information functions as the nervous system of all economic organisations and markets, helping managers and investors to make economically sound decisions. Specialists trained in accounting and financial management understand what financial information managers and investors need, how such information is used, and how it can be securely gathered and distributed throughout the organisation and to the outside world.

During this one year master programme you will:

  • Choose from specialised tracks: financial assurance, financial management and control or financial analysis and advisory to prepare for further accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACA, RA or RC
  • Be taught by international-recognised faculty who area active in academic research and have strong ties to the corporate world
  • Prepare for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam as part of the unique partnership between RSM and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA)

Application Procedure

To join our Accounting & Financial Management programme, you must have a research university bachelor’s degree (equal to a bachelor’s degree from a Dutch research university) containing a minimum total of 60 ECTS in qualitative and quantitative research methods, statistics and advanced courses in business administration and accounting & finance methods and tools.

You will be assessed on the basis of a dossier containing your academic background, grade point average (GPA), motivation and relevant test scores such as GMAT and/or TOEFL / IELTS.
