The goal of the Strategy programme is to develop business professionals that are able to succeed in the complex business environment. The program provides key skills required for consulting and entry-level management roles. Combining the expertise and course offering of two Aalto schools, the School of Science and the School of Business, the programme provides courses in the areas such as innovation and technology management, international business, business venturing, marketing management, and managerial economics. An exclusive core syllabus frames the topical courses throughout the two years of the programme. This is to deepen understanding on strategy and provide the practical skills required to work with business development on a daily basis.

At the heart of the programme lies a student-focused learning method, emphasizing personal development through practical exercises, experience, and learning by doing. Courses blend theoretical and conceptual knowledge and analysis with real-life examples and business insights. The programme draws from its strong connections to the corporate world and alumni. The day-to-day challenges of leading organizations, as well as company excursions, case studies, and assignments are essential parts of learning.
