      Hi,

I wish to do my MSc in Artificial Intelligence at University of Edinburgh but I don't know whether GRE score is mandatory or not. I visited their website, in that as a entry requirement they mentioned only about IELTS or TOEFL and in some other websites I have read that having GRE score in our application will be a plus point, is it true or I can leave the GRE scores?

        Hi there,

well, you ask two questions. (1) Can you leave the GRE? and (2) Would the GRE be a Plus?

As for your first question: If the GRE is not mentioned under the program's admissions requirements, then you can leave it.

As for your second question, I would ask the University of Edinburgh admissions team directly. By this, you get a reliable answer.

        Best wishes,
        Thomas

      Hi there,

to figure out which schools ask for the GRE you have to read the admissions pages of the schools. I do, however, recommend a different approach. Forget the requirements for now and specify your ideal master first. Then identify programs for your short list. Only then think about the requirements and keep some schools on your short list. Read my eBook to learn how to do that.

      Best wishes
      Thomas
