Employment reports of mim programs

  • Posted by - vikram9634 - on 19 March 2016 - 9:06am

    Hello,
I read in a post that the employment/career report which are submitted by business schools for the mim programs on their website are not true and if one contacts the business school for official reports. They do give it but the employment is very low.
I would like to know if anyone has any info on this?
are the Employment reports of business schools 100% true?

      Hi there,

here is my personal opinion: In general, I am confident that the reports are more or less correct. But schools have, of course, leeway about some things. For example, they can increase the employment rates by simply hiring graduates themselves who didn't find a job; or by extending the program for them so that they are still "in the program" while in fact they search for a job.

If you doubt a certain number it makes always sense to include other sources of information. In the "READ and TALK TO chapter of my eBook "Business Masters: How you find the best Master in Management or MBA" you find a lot of suggestions on this. If you use these multiple sources of information, you wil gain a very good sense of how helpful the school is in contributing to your future career.

      Best wishes
      Thomas
