This is a 16-month programme, which will help you:

• develop a broad general view of the dynamics in the international sports and outdoor market and,
• acquire the specialist management skills and techniques that are necessary for success in this highly coveted and competitive industry.

Starting your studies in Paris in September, you first acquire the fundamentals of management in a global environment. You then travel to the Alps, the heart of the Sports and Outdoor Industry in Europe and study specialist courses which help you manage the specifics of the Sports and Outdoor Industry. While in the Alps, you also have the opportunity to visit sector-specific companies as well as meet and learn from industry experts.

The last academic part of the programme takes place at emlyon’s Asian Campus in Shanghai, for the “Business and the Sports and Outdoor Industry in Asia” module, where students receive first-hand perspectives on the challenges and opportunities Sports and Outdoor Companies face in Asia, a flourishing key player of the Global Sports and Outdoor Industry.

Combining academic knowledge with practical, real-life business challenges are key to the future success of the students. This is why two integral parts of the programme are the In-Company project you work on while in Shanghai as well as the internship at the end of the programme.
