Description

HHL’s part-time M.Sc. Program will provide you with a great competency package that helps you to succeed professionally. First, you will acquire excellent academic management knowledge and skills based on a general management approach and the latest research methods. Second, you will enhance your ability to think critically, evaluate, analyze, and interpret information to find valuable solutions to real-world and research problems. Third, you will learn about effective, responsible and entrepreneurial leadership to help you meet the challenges of managerial responsibilities in a complex globalized world. Last but not least, you will understand and evaluate ethical issues and situations based on theoretical and methodological foundations.

As part-time M.Sc. student at HHL you get more than sound academic knowledge and skills. What really makes studying at HHL unique is the network of participants in each class who enrich each other through their different backgrounds, while at the same time sharing similar goals along the path to success. This lifelong network continuously supports you even after you have completed your studies.

Additionally, you can choose whether you want to study your part-time master in Leipzig, Cologne and as of fall 2017 additionally in Munich.

Academic RequirementsNo academic background in business or economics required

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent business-related programs, e.g. Business Informatics, Business Psychology, Business Law, Economics, Industrial Engineering etc.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the all-English 24-month Master of Science program at HHL amount to 33,900 €.

  • There are 2 Early Bird Deadlines: November 30th (4,000 Euro Discount) and February 28th (2,000 Euro Discount).
  • For German tax payers this fee is tax deductable.

LengthThe part-time Master Program in Management (M.Sc.) is a two-year study program covering 90 ECTS credits. With the support of your company and/or working part-time, you are able to finish the program within 24 months. Depending on your workload and the choice of an optional term abroad, you can extend the program to 33 months – with no additional fees!
Application Deadline

The application deadline is June 30 for the program start in September of the same year. The application form is already open one year before start of studies.

Application Procedure

Admission to HHL is highly competitive. To become a member of the next class you need to take the first step now. We invite you to set the course for your future as an international business leader by becoming a true HHLer.

As an applicant you have to hand in the following documents to be able to submit your application:

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Letter of motivation
  • Copy of general qualification for university entrance
  • Current / final transcript of an above average Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration which is equivalent to min. 180 ECTS credits (For less than 210 credits, the missing credits must be proven through professional experience)
  • Portrait Photo

Further application documents (can be submitted during the application process):

  • Proof of a minimum of 3 months relevant practical work experience
  • 1 letter of recommendation
  • Proof of very good skills in English (e.g. TOEFL of 90+ ibt)
  • HHL Entry Test (alternatively GMAT)
